Bottom Line: When life seems impossible, remember what Jesus did for you.
This month we’re talking about perseverance, which is (1) refusing to give up when life gets hard, and its connection with faith. (2) No one is more persevering than God. He keeps on loving people even when they ignore Him and disobey Him and do all manner of evil things. He wanted a relationship with us so much that He sent His own Son here to be our Savior. Jesus gave up heaven to come live here as a human being and do what was necessary to save us. No one, no matter what bad things happen in his or her life, will ever endure more than what Jesus did for us. (3) That’s why we can trust Jesus-we can put our faith in Him-and that’s how we can persevere-with His help and by remembering what He did and does for us. This week, focus on helping kids discover what it means to “keep their eyes on Him” and how (4) that impacts others.
