This past week your children learned that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptizer. We were reminded that God lives in us and makes us new from the inside out. 

We had a great time making a dove light switch cover" craft - "When you turn on your light in your room, this dove will remind you that Jesus, God's Son, came to show us God's love."

In partnering together this week:

• Reread the story as a family this week (Matthew 3).
• Discuss baptism with your family. Why did you get baptized?
• Pray together and ask Jesus to change you on the inside - in your heart, soul and mind. Tell God about anything you especially want His help with in your life.
