Options for Fundraisers

Cost of the trip may be a factor for some of you and you may hesitate to send your student. Our commitment to you is to provide ways that if you and your child take advantage of them, will not strap you financially. We feel strongly that God wants to do a work in your teen's life and He will provide the money needed to go on this trip through your active participation.

  • Letters
  • Students may send out letters to family/friends discussing their spiritual journey asking for prayer and support for a week in which God can change their lives. Sample attached.

  • Miscellaneous fundraisers that you can do on your own
  • Babysitting, odd jobs, current jobs, gift money, etc.

  • Scholarships
  • Scholarship applications are available for those students who need extra help after having exhausted all other options but can't meet the amounts. Scholarship applications are submitted to a team that determines how much and to whom they will offer scholarships.

  • Work
  • We have volunteer work available for those who want to earn a large portion of their expense.
We are currently looking for committed students to help volunteer in the Promised Land for 3 hours on every Sunday 8:45 – 11:45 am. We will automatically deduct $30 per Sunday each time the student is there completing the required tasks.

IMPORTANT: Students cannot just show up. Volunteer applications must be submitted for approval.

  • Group Fundraisers
  • There will be a couple of group fundraisers we will hold for students to help raise money for themselves and for the volunteers that are attending. Example: Car Wash
