Alright, I’m excited, because I know that God is using us to show more people how relevant he is to their lives. This year will be incredible to watch. I’m sure we will have some ups and downs ahead of us, but I am just as sure that as we stay focused on him, he will do some life-changing stuff through us.

I can’t think of a better way to start the year than to talk about marriage. You probably know that half of all marriages in the U.S. end up in court. Many of you have even experienced that and are wondering what lies ahead for your family. I pray that the next four weeks will be historic for our families as we explore the complexity of marriage during our weekend services. I’m particularly excited about the final weekend of the new series, when we will take a huge step forward together.

There are a few upcoming events I want to make sure you don’t miss:

• I will be speaking specifically to the men during our men’s breakfast next Saturday morning, January 12. We’ll start at 8am, so don’t be late!
• Your next chance to join one of our three core courses is on Monday, January 14. We’ll start at 6:30pm with a light dinner to get everyone going. Just let us know that you want to be there.
