Baptism

What is Baptism?

Baptism is an act of obedience that identifies you with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. It is an external declaration of the internal reality that you have accepted Christ as your Savior and are a new creation in Him. Baptism is not a means of salvation; it does not wash away sin. Rather, it is a public profession of your faith.

Baptism Classes
Sunday, March 18 & 25 • 10:30-11:15 am • Room 202

Baptism is an important step in your walk with Christ. It is a sacred and beautiful opportunity to declare, "I want to live life to the fullest in Jesus Christ." You may have some questions. To start, please take a look at our Baptism FAQ (PDF). We'd welcome the opportunity to speak with you and answer any additional questions you may have. To participate in our baptism services on Easter Weekend, April 7 & 8, 2012, we invite you to take the next step by being a part of our baptism class.
